National Night Out is an annual community-building event that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood engagement. The Burbank Fire Corps Program (BFCP) will participate by setting up and hosting an informational booth to educate residents about the Fire Corps program and supporting tear-down operations after the event concludes.
Volunteer Shifts (BFCP Booth Support Only):
• 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM: Booth Setup Crew
Assist with setting up the BFCP booth, displays, and materials to ensure we’re ready to engage with the public. Setup begins at the Fire Training Center before moving to the event location.
• 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM: Booth Operations & Community Engagement
Staff the BFCP booth, engage with community members, answer questions about the program, and share information on volunteer opportunities.
• 8:30 PM – 9:30 PM: Booth Tear Down Crew
Assist with breaking down and packing up the BFCP booth, materials, and equipment after the event.
This is a great opportunity for BFCP volunteers to connect with the community and promote emergency preparedness while representing the program!
