This exercise provides a critical opportunity for volunteers to practice and refine their skills in a simulated emergency scenario\, ensuring our preparedness for real-world situations. \nThis drill will incorporate multiple missions\, allowing volunteers to engage in various roles and responsibilities\, leveraging as many BFCP core capabilities as possible. The training will focus on team coordination\, communication\, and response operations to evaluate overall effectiveness and readiness. \nParticipation: \n\nOpen to all registered BFCP volunteers\nVolunteers will receive deployment instructions prior to the exercise\nThis drill will simulate realistic emergency conditions\, requiring volunteers to operate as they would in an actual activation\n\nThis is a key training event for all BFCP volunteers and plays a vital role in maintaining our operational capabilities. DESCRIPTION:Apologies for the late notice\, but we’re hosting a work day at the Fire Training Center (FTC) this Saturday from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM\, and we’d love to have your help! \nWe’ll be working on clearing out one of the trailers as we prepare to operationalize it into what will become an EOC on Wheels. This will be a mobile\, ready-to-deploy resource for future operations and events—and it’s one of several exciting initiatives you’ll be hearing more about at this month’s meeting. \nIf you’re available and looking for a productive way to spend your Saturday\, come join us\, lend a hand\, and help move this project forward.
