DESCRIPTION:Apologies for the late notice\, but we’re hosting a work day at the Fire Training Center (FTC) this Saturday from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM\, and we’d love to have your help! \nWe’ll be working on clearing out one of the trailers as we prepare to operationalize it into what will become an EOC on Wheels. This will be a mobile\, ready-to-deploy resource for future operations and events—and it’s one of several exciting initiatives you’ll be hearing more about at this month’s meeting. \nIf you’re available and looking for a productive way to spend your Saturday\, come join us\, lend a hand\, and help move this project forward. Many hands make light work—and this is a great chance to make a tangible impact on our operational readiness.

DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, May 16th\, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM for Vehicle Operations & HU Driver Training. \nThis hands-on training will focus on safe vehicle operations\, department vehicle familiarization\, and Heavy Utility vehicle awareness. Volunteers will review basic vehicle safety expectations\, operational considerations\, and procedures for using BFCP vehicles during events\, trainings\, and activations. \nThis training is intended to help volunteers build confidence\, improve safety\, and stay current with vehicle-related responsibilities within the program. \nVolunteers should wear their BFCP uniform and bring water. Please register through VicNet so we have an accurate count for planning.
