This vital session serves as a cornerstone of our operational readiness\, ensuring effective communication support for the Burbank Fire Department and the City of Burbank during emergencies or planned events. \nThe net provides a regular opportunity for all Fire Corps ACS members to: \n\nTest personal and Go-Kit radio equipment functionality.\nPractice standardized net check-in procedures and radio discipline.\nSimulate passing tactical messages and handling formal traffic.\nReceive important announcements regarding ACS team activities\, training\, and upcoming events.\nMaintain proficiency in emergency communication protocols.\n\n  \nParticipation is strongly encouraged for all active Burbank Fire Corps ACS members to ensure team cohesion and skill maintenance. Other licensed amateur radio operators with an interest in emergency communications or the Fire Corps program are welcome to listen and may check in when the Net Control Station invites guest check-ins.
